Thanks for this curated group of great poems and poets! A few writers I had not subscribed to previously and did so. I’m not sure how I would have come across their work any other way. The algorithm is almost useless in this regard. Thanks again.
It’s a great reason to keep going. I fled Instagram because of how lonely it is for formal poets to swim in a sea of free verse—rather simply because not having anyone who sees what you see in art is grief-inducing. So, even if it takes endless scrolling, I—or we—will keep searching for every pearl in the ocean.
This is a wonderful collection of metre and rhyme. I’m slowly beginning to appreciate just how powerfully adherence to form helps to carry and project the poem’s themes and deeper meanings.
your compilation is phenomenal. I am entirely impressed by each and every poem herein. And my hope is that by sharing your words on loneliness together in this collaboration, all of you may feel a little less alone than you did before. Beautiful job, all of you!
Incredible collection. Thank you for bringing these poets together. Fascinating to see how each poem turns on a different theme within the topic of 'loneliness', unique to each writer.
"This captures the 'sting' of healing so perfectly. I’m realizing that the thaw isn't always comfortable—it’s a prickle and a surge of energy I’m still learning to navigate. But I’d take this 'unfurling' over the permafrost any day! I'm finally letting the green grow. ✨
This really feels deeply universal. It made me think about the loneliness that isn’t physical, but mental. That strange loneliness of not often finding people who meet you in the same kind of thought. You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone in the architecture of your ideas. This poem touched that place for me, where the world keeps moving, but part of you feels separate from it, watching from the edge of the scene
Love every one! Nice job, poets.
we love you too
Thank you, Rue! It was a fun endeavor. Maybe we will have you on at some point?

Sadly true. We do a lot of manual scouting round these parts.
